Street 1

짜투리 종이에 손풀기처럼 시작된 작업으로, 주로 거리 위 사람들의 행렬을 다룬다. 스케치 없이 즉흑적으로, 느낌대로 그려나가며, 붓터치, 선, 겹침 효과에서 보이는 형태에서 인물들이 만들어지고, 이들이 불규칙한 패턴처럼 화면을 채운다. 화면 위 사람들은 특정 주인공이 아니지만 '군중'으로 모두 주인공이며, 각자의 개성을 가지고 있다. 이들은 때론 비현실적으로 보이기도 하다. 상상과 현실의 경계에 있는 무대를 '거리'로 설정하고 그 위에 기묘한 인물과 찰나의 순간들을 엮어나간다.

This series began as a work of art, loosely crafted on scrap paper, primarily depicting the procession of people on the street. Drawing spontaneously, without sketches, and guided by feeling, the figures emerge from the shapes revealed in brushstrokes, lines, and overlapping effects, filling the canvas like irregular patterns. First presented in the 2023 exhibition "A Wonderful Moment," the series gradually expanded in scale, leading to Street series 2
