Out there, here too

작가는 우연의 개입을 적극적으로 작업에 활용하며, 특히 모노타입 판화와 즉흥 드로잉 기법으로 《Out there, here too  어딘가에서, 오늘도》연작을 진행중이다. 각각의 그림은 독립적으로 기능하지만, 모이면 어딘가에서 오늘도 움직이고 진동하는 거리의 CCTV나  SNS의 보고 잊혀지는 숏츠처럼 각자의 자리에서 움직이고 떨리고 나타났다 사라지는 현존과 잔재를 보여준다. 각 그림에는 고유의 제목과 대화, 문장들이 있고, 이는 발신자와 수신자없는 찰나의 독백과도 같다. (그림 클릭)

The artist actively utilizes the intervention of chance and accident in her work. Using monotype printmaking and drawing techniques, she exhibited the 29-piece series "Out there, here too", an ongoing project. While each of the 29 works functions independently, when assembled, they resemble CCTV footage of a street, moving and vibrating, or like a series of shorts seen and forgotten on social media. In each painting, there are unique titles and lines of dialogue, existing as a brief monologue that lacks both a speaker and an audience. (Click on images)
