작가의 그림책 『여름,』, 『괜찮아, 나의 두꺼비야』, 『여기, 지금, 함께』에 담긴 정서와 사유를 확장하여, 이번 전시는 〈Sweet, My Summer〉, 〈My Friend〉, 〈My Home〉 세 개의 장으로 구성된다. ‘달콤한 여름’은 계절의 감각 속에서 피어나는 양면적 감정을, ‘사랑스러운 친구’는 타자와의 관계 속에서 발견되는 사랑스러운 시선을, ‘안락한 집’은 '집'의 의미를 생각해보고, 집이 주는 심리적 온기를 조명한다. 각 섹션은 그림책 원화를 중심으로 구성되며, 이야기의 장면들은 책이라는 형식을 넘어 하나의 공간적 경험으로 확장된다. 전시 기간 동안에는 키즈 프로그램(With Les Pensées)과 작가와의 만남이 함께 마련되어, 이미지가 만들어내는 세계를 보다 예술적, 교육적으로 체험하는 시간을 제공한다.
Expanding upon the emotional and conceptual threads found in the artist’s picture books Summer, It’s Okay, My Toad, and Here, Now, Together, the exhibition is structured in three chapters: Sweet, My Summer, My Friend, and My Home.
“Sweet, My Summer” explores the ambivalent emotions that emerge through the sensory experience of a season. “My Friend” reflects on the tender gaze discovered within relationships with others, while “My Home” contemplates the meaning of “home” and illuminates the psychological warmth it provides.
Each section centers on the original illustrations from the picture books, allowing the narrative scenes to extend beyond the format of the book into a spatial experience. Throughout the exhibition, a children’s program (with Les Pensées) and an artist talk will also be presented, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the world shaped by images in both artistic and educational ways.
