이 이야기에는 한국어 ‘바람’이 지닌 두 가지 뜻—‘바람(wind)’과 바람(희망)’—이 겹쳐있습니다. 우리가 진짜 바라는 것, 간절히 갈망하는 것들은 늘 흐르고, 바뀌고, 관계 속에서 다시 태어날 수 있음을 제목 안에 담고 있습니다. 형처럼 빨리 달리고 싶은 한 아이가 분노 끝에 바람이 되어 어디든지 날아가지만, 곧 아무도 자신을 볼 수 없다는 외로움에 빠집니다. 엄마의 목소리에 이끌려 한 낮 꿈에서 현실로 돌아온 아이는 휠체어에 앉아 다시 공원으로 나가고, 함께 나아가는 느린 걸음 속에서 자신이 진짜 원했던 ‘바람’이 무엇이었는지 깨닫습니다.
In Korean, the word “baram” means both wind and hope. This story carries both meanings, suggesting that what we truly long for, what we call hope, may always be changing—flowing like the wind, shaped by the people we walk beside.
A child frustrated by never being able to run as fast as his older brother
suddenly transforms into the wind and flies freely. But as the invisible wind, he feels lonely and unseen. Hearing his mother’s voice brings him back to reality, where he moves slowly in a wheelchair. Through slow, shared steps with others, he discovers that true hope—the real “wind”—is moving forward together.
